JRWAppDev ("we", "us" or "our") makes the ZipZap app (the "Service"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
Information We Collect
ZipZap doesn't ask for your email or phone number, and you don't need an account. When you open the app, it creates an anonymous profile that identifies the app on our servers.
If you link a TikTok account by sending a code to our TikTok account, we store that account's username and the stickers you send us.
When you make pet stickers, the photo you choose is sent to our servers to create them. We also count the pet stickers you make and the TikTok stickers you add to WhatsApp, to apply the free limits.
If you subscribe to ZipZap Pro, the app sends our servers the App Store's signed record of your subscription, like which plan you have and when it renews, so they can unlock it. Apple handles the payment: we never see your payment details.
We also record when the subscription screen is shown and when a purchase is made, to learn which features people subscribe for.
AI Processing
Your pet photo is processed on the computers we use to generate images, and an AI service provider writes a description of your pet from it. They receive your photo only to make your stickers.
Copies of the photo and of the stickers made from it can stay on those computers. We don't use them for anything else.
How We Use Information
We use this information only to run the app's features, like making and showing your stickers, saving your packs, adding them to WhatsApp, applying the free limits and unlocking ZipZap Pro.
Sharing
We don't sell your information or share it with third parties for advertising, and we don't use it to track you across other apps or websites. We share it only with the providers that run the app for us, like our hosting and AI providers, and only as needed for that.
When you add stickers to WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles them under its own privacy policy. Apple handles subscriptions under its own privacy policy.
Storage and Deletion
Your information is kept on our servers while you use the app. You can delete your profile, linked TikTok accounts, stickers, packs and usage records at any time with Delete My Data in the app's Me tab. Deleting your data doesn't cancel a subscription: you manage that in your Apple Account settings.
Children
ZipZap is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page and in the app.
